Fortunately much of the furnishings and fittings have survived, and with them the character of this Grade II listed building.

After much work, The Star partially reopened there just a few weeks old (although that it retained part of the charred roof framework, in honor of the last event in its long ory history), with full operation scheduled for Christmas.
