Inside Wrexham's title party as Ben Foster and co pour beers in wild locker room scenes

Wrexham's National League promotion party is set to continue late into the night, but it was a story of relief, ecstasy, emotion and jubilation as the Red Dragons finally sealed their comeback expected in the Football League. Paul Mullin was the hero again as he scored twice in the second half to seal a 3-1 triumph over Boreham Wood, who did his best to crush Wrexham's crowning moment.

Lee Ndlovu opened the scoring in the first minute, pressing Ben Foster to totally stun the racetrack - a reminder that nothing in the National League is ever simple.

Yet Wrexham rallied and got their rewards when Elliot Lee made things better and from then on there was a sense that nothing was going to stand in the way of the hosts in their pursuit of glory .

Mullin then scored two superb second-half goals to wrap up the win and from that moment on it was obvious this would be a night for the history books.

As Boreham Wood attempted to get back into the game in stoppage time, fans began to gather to the side of the pitch in anticipation of the full-time whistle.

Despite health and safety protocols, nothing would stop fanatical Wrexham supporters from celebrating this joyous victory with their heroes.

Within mini-seconds of the referee's whistle, the floodgates opened and the fans were on the pitch, carrying the players on their shoulders.

It should come as no surprise that the 38-goal hero Mullin received a legendary welcome as he was immediately hoisted onto someone's shoulders.

Yet after all the media attention and spotlight, you could see there was a sense of emotional release from Mullian who frequently looked up at the sky and let out several shrill roars.

Red flares also lit up the Welsh skies as the players flashed beaming smiles accompanied by thumps.

Back at the side of the pitch, manager Phil Parkinson's eyes were filled with tears as he celebrated with passion and thought, hugging those around him and waving to the board and his family in the crowd .

Parkinson told fans, "I really believe this is the start of a journey for Wrexham Football Club. Enjoy it. We're having a party tonight."

Upstairs, Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney showed emotion as all their hard work and dedication finally paid off.

They were in complete disbelief at what they had just seen as Reynolds FaceTimed his loved ones before unfurling a red flag that read "Wrexham - We're going up!"

For the trophy lift, the players donned flags and sashes as they patiently awaited the arrival of Captain Ben Tozer to claim the biggest prize of them all.

In typical Wrexham fashion, he was keen to share the moment collectively and lifted the trophy with boss Parkinson, who won multiple promotions in previous spells with Bradford City and Bolton.

Meanwhile, The Cycling GK Foster was waving his Go Pro camera to capture footage that will no doubt skyrocket on his popular YouTube channel.

"Feel it," the former England goalkeeper told BT Sport's Jeff Brazier after a brilliant interview as he waved his sweaty shirt at the presenter.

It wasn't long before the champagne poured out in the dressing room as corks were popped and bubbles were sprayed into the air, flooding Wrexham players and staff.

They then all linked arms for a brilliant rendition of Queen's We Are The Champions in scenes that will live long in the memory.

Beer cans and bottles had already been devoured, and it seems there was plenty more to go, as every player jumped at the chance to enjoy some well-deserved booze.

The technical staff were soaked from head to toe while some of the post-match refreshments placed in the center of the dressing room were no longer suitable.

Foster even put the Go Pro aside to give bear hugs while the Wrexham players continued to dance the night away.

There is a real growing sense that this is just the beginning of Wrexham's special history in Hollywood and given the unity that has been evident after their incredible crowning...
