Jamie Lee Curtis Gets Proactive About 'Freaky Friday' Sequel With Lindsay Lohan

Jamie Lee Curtis is ready to swap bodies with Lindsay Lohan again.

The 'Freaky Friday' star has confirmed she's 'already written to Disney' about a sequel to the classic 2003 teen comedy about an overbearing mother (Curtis) who unwittingly switches places with her punk rock teenage daughter (Lohan) so that they both better understand each other's points of view. The film, directed by Mark Waters, earned $160 million at the worldwide box office and helped cement Lohan's status as a teenage queen.

"I've already written Disney, my friends at Disney. I'm in their new movie 'Haunted Mansion,'" Curtis said in "The View."

The 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' actress shared her pitch for a follow-up to 'Freaky Friday', adding, "Let me be the grandma! Let me be the changing old grandma! So Lindsay becomes the sexy grandma, who's always happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you'd be happy with Mark Harmon."

Curtis concluded, "And just, I'd like to see Lindsay be the sexy grandma, and I'd like to see me trying to take care of the little ones today. I want to be a helicopter parent. in today's world, as an old lady."
