Janelle Monáe marries elegance and futurism in a couture dress for the premiere of "Glass Onion" at TIFF

Janelle Monáe walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10 in a wrap dress classic elegance and futurism.

The "I Like That" singer wore an Iris van Herpen dress from the fall 2022 couture collection of the brand. She is promoting her role alongside Kate Hudson and Daniel Craig in "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery", which is a sequel to the comedy "Knives Out".

The dress features shiny cream-colored fabric that flows out of the bodice in curls and cascades into a train . The dress also incorporates intricate silver detailing that mimics the appearance of feathers and runs up the right shoulder and around the neck, where the fabric is delicately shaped into loops, giving the appearance of weightlessness.
