Jason Wu Launches Limited Edition Home Collection with AllModern

Jason Wu goes further in the home category.

AllModern, a Boston-based modern furniture retailer, will launch AllModern x Jason Wu, a limited-edition collection, on Tuesday.

Designed by Wu, the collection includes exclusive rugs, throws and pillows available exclusively at AllModern.com and the AllModern retail store in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.

Jason Wu exudes this shared belief in everything he designs, and it has created a collaboration such a natural dynamic to bring this collection to the AllModern customer," said Reena Person, Head of AllModern. "Jason is a brilliant designer who brings a new take on modern that is versatile, accessible, and ambitious. We can't wait for our customers to bring the special pieces into their homes and enjoy living with them day after day."

The collection is inspired by timeless modern styles, incorporating mid-century modern and Scandinavian influences. The pieces incorporate geometric shapes, abstract patterns, stripes and tonal textures and draw inspiration from modern architecture and artists Josef Albers and Mark Rothko.

Specifically, the rugs are hand-tufted from 100% wool and come in a range of sizes to suit any space, and pillows and throws round out the collection. Pillows sell for between $50 and $90; throws cost between $160 and $205, and stacks between $100 and $1,300.

"I came away with a very specific point of view: something elevated and textured, which can fit in many different types of homes," Wu said. "I really believe that a good design is about intention and how details are taken care of. [Design] doesn't have to be a luxury. In the last 10 years of my career, I've wanted to think bigger, think about the way I could let more people be a part of Jason Wu's world, and I'm thrilled to partner with AllModern to bring my designs into more homes."
