Jena Malone wants to be adopted in 'Adopting Audrey' trailer

Adopting Audrey Trailer

"You're sane, pretty much." "Sane as you are." Vertical Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for an independent film titled Adopting Audrey (formerly known as Porcupine during its premiere at the festival), a sort of comedy-drama from filmmaker M. Cahill. Not to be confused with the other Mike Cahill (of Another Earth, I Origins), this Mike Cahill now goes by Mr Cahill and directed the indie hit King of California with Michael Douglas in 2007. This is only his second feature film. Jena Malone plays Audrey, a "grown woman" who comes forward for adoption and bonds with the misanthropic patriarch of her adoptive family. Based on a true story. The cast also includes Robert Hunger-Bühler, Brooke Bloom, Will Rogers and Emily Kuroda. It actually looks like a nice little indie film. Malone looks like Evan Rachel Wood or even Andrea Riseborough in this case; I love her style with the short hair and the quirky attitude. Worth a look.
