The way John sees it, actors are people who play other people...and the profession was never meant to be about portraying a character very similar to the actual actor.

Although there has been some backlash lately about the casting of James Franco to play Fidel Castro and Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe...John says the haters are wrong and the actors don't shouldn't let the public define who they are.

John says he makes it a priority to find casting directors and producers who want him to cast in a role...and he says his next film, 'Breaking', is a great one example.
