John Krasinski met real CIA agents to prepare for Jack Ryan

Speaking at the series premiere in 2018, the actor revealed he met real CIA agents in preparation for his debut as Jack Ryan. He explained:

"I have to say I was absolutely pissed off when I went to see them. I have to say I also thought this would be the quietest interview I've ever had from my life because I thought every answer would be, "We can't talk about it," and instead they were the most incredibly diverse, intelligent, generous, generous group and we're so lucky to have them."
