Is a 'Good Burger' sequel finally on the horizon? Twenty-five years after the '90s classic debuted in theaters, a follow-up movie is reportedly in development, according to a really strong hint from one of its original stars, Kenan Thompson. The "Saturday Night Live" veteran teased his hopes for a second "Good Burger" movie during his Aug. evening inquired about one of Thompson's recent Instagram posts.

"I know it's a little cryptic here," Fallon said, referring to the social media post. "At the bottom it says, 'Sup with that second part? . . . Are you saying 'Good Burger 2' is happening?" Uh, not quite. Thompson responded by saying, "I'd love to," before going into more detail. "We we're working on it more than ever, so it's about sticking to the numbers, matching them," he explained.

While nothing is set in stone yet, including Thompson's ideas for the sequel, he did share some potential storylines. "I feel like Kel [Mitchell], Ed's character should have a million kids and then I get out of jail for something he put me in jail for," Thompson joked. with the audience.

Thompson starred alongside Mitchell in their 1997 children's comedy as two goofy friends, Dexter and Ed, who spend their summers working at a local fast food joint. The two spoke about the film's success on July 25 in a 25th anniversary tribute shared on Instagram.

“25 years ago today great customer service was born‼️ Welcome to Goodburger Home of the Goodburger Can I take your order⁉️” they wrote in a caption. "Happy 25 Goodburger!!! Love this movie and everyone who worked on it!! So proud to be part of something so many generations of people loved too!!! 'Sup with this part 2?!
