Kevin Spacey tried for sexual abuse in New York

he sexually assaulted a boy 36 years ago.

M. Spacey is facing a civil lawsuit from Anthony Rapp, who claims the actor touched him inappropriately at a party in 1986 when he was 14.

M. Spacey, 63, faces five sexual assault charges separately in the UK.

The House of Cards actor has denied allegations against him.

Mr. Rapp, now 51 and also an actor, and Mr. Spacey were in the Manhattan federal courthouse when the trial opened Thursday with jury selection.

Mr. Rapp says Mr Spacey was around 26 or 27 when he met him at a party in his Manhattan apartment.

In an October 2017 Buzzfeed article, Mr. Rapp said that Mr. Spacey lifted him, placed him on a bed and partially laid him on top of him .

"I was aware that he was trying to be sexually with me," Mr. Rapp said.
