Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner support Tristan Thompson after his mother's death

The Kardashian-Jenner family are supporting Tristan Thompson as he mourns the sudden passing of his mother. Thursday, Andrea Thompson died suddenly at her home in Toronto after suffering a heart attack, as confirmed by several media. His son, a former NBA player, left Los Angeles to be with his family during this difficult time - and his ex Khloé Kardashian would be by his side.

As reported by E! News, a source said Kardashian is joining Tristan to "comfort him and help him through what will be a very difficult time." While the exes have had their ups and downs in the past, they co-parent True, 4, and their 5-month-old son together. Kardashian was also close with Andrea.

"She was incredibly close to her mother, and as Khloé and the Kardashian family always do, they will come together and support their loved ones through their most difficult times," the source continued. "Tristan is the father of Khloé's children, and she and her entire family will always be there for him."

Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, confirmed that her family would be there for Tristan in an Instagram tribute to Andrea on January 6. Jenner shared a collection of photos featuring Tristan's mother at various family events along with a caption praising her dedication to her family.
