The fearless sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has attacked South Korea, calling its government foolish for considering new unilateral sanctions against the North.

The South Korean Foreign Ministry has said it is considering sanctions against North Korea following its increased barrage of missile tests. He also said he would take action against North Korea's cyberattacks if it conducted a nuclear test.

Kim Yo Jong reacted to the news by saying, "I wonder what 'sanctions' the South Korean group, no more than a wild dog gnawing on a bone donated by the US, will brazenly impose. to North Korea."< /p>

She continued to call South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his administration "idiots who continue to create a dangerous situation".

She “warned[ed] the impudent and stupid government” that “desperate” sanctions and pressure on North Korea will only fuel hostility and anger and “serve them as a noose”.

Responding to Ms. Kim's insults, Seoul said it was "very deplorable for her to denounce our head of state with crude and substandard words and not to show any basic form of etiquette".< /p>

The Unification Ministry, an executive department of the South Korean government, added that it strongly condemned - what it called - Ms. Kim's "impure attempt to incite anti-government struggles and shake our system".
