Hulu has released the official Koala Man trailer for 20th Television Animation's new animated adult comedy, featuring an all-star voice cast including Hugh Jackman, Hugo Weaving and Sarah Snook. The series will be available to stream on January 9.

The video features Kevin, a below-average superhero and middle-aged dad on a mission to clean up his hometown. It also gives us a glimpse of the crazy antics he'll get into, as well as a glimpse of the interesting side characters he'll encounter during his adventures.

Koala Man is written and produced by creator Michael Cusack, who also lends his voice to the title character. It is also written and executive produced by showrunners Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez.

The series is directed by Cusak, Sarah Snook and Demi Lardner. "It follows middle-aged father Kevin and his not-so-secret titular identity, whose only superpower is a burning passion for following the rules and stifling petty crime in the town of Dapto," reads the synopsis. "Although it may look like any other Australian suburb, the forces of evil, both cosmic and man-made, are waiting to pounce on unsuspecting Daptonians. In a quest to clean up his hometown and often dragging down his family Frustrated in his adventures, Koala Man stands ready. He'll do whatever it takes to defeat evil geniuses, supernatural horrors, or worse: morons who don't take out their trash cans on good days."

Koala Man is produced by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland, Scott Greenberg, Ben Jones, Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya-Cameron, Mike Coway and Emma Fitzsimmons. It is produced by Dario Russo and David Ashby.
