Lawyer Roche alleges statements he made about Ava Labs are false, the result of intoxication New

Kyle Roche, the attorney at the center of Cryptoleaks' allegations of a secret deal between his firm and Ava Labs, responded Monday in a post on Medium. Like Ava Labs CEO Emin Gün Sirer, Roche denied the existence of any secret agreement between the parties.

Roche claimed that the recordings that were posted on the Cryptoleaks website were made at the request of ICP Token creator Dominic Williams. Roche's firm, Roche Freedman, filed a class action lawsuit against Williams and his Dfinity foundation last October. Roche said the recordings were heavily edited and he denied the veracity of statements he made in them. According to Roche:

"The statements in the video […] are false and were obtained by deceptive means, including a deliberate scheme to intoxicate and then exploit me, using leading questions."

The released videos show Roche in two distinct contexts. A series of clips were recorded at a restaurant, where Roche can be seen with a glass of wine. The other set of clips appears to have been recorded in an office.

Sirer also commented on the Cryptoleaks allegations on his little-used Medium blog on Monday as well. Sirer repeated his denial that Ava Labs had a secret deal with Roche's law firm to manipulate the United States...
