Jamie Overton, Matthew Fisher and Brydon Carse have been awarded pace bowling development contracts for the first time.

Livingstone was previously on a progressive contract, but was rewarded as a regular player in England's Twenty20 teams and international one-day events.

The contracts, which were amended in 2021, cover both red and white ball cricket and are 12 month offers from 1 October 20 22.

Foakes has been the regular test keeper of England this summer, having replaced Jos Buttler. He scored his second Test century in the second Test against South Africa at Old Trafford in August.

"I feel we have rewarded players who have made a significant impact over the last 12 months and those who we believe will be part of England's plans in the next period," said Rob Key , chief executive of England men's cricket.

Sir Andrew Strauss has recommended revamping the system, including the introduction of multi-year contracts, in its performance review.
