LinkedIn has announced the addition of a new suite of content creation features to its platform, which will include clickable links in images and videos.

With a 20% year-over-year increase in the number of people adding visual content to their LinkedIn posts, we love seeing new ways for professionals to create engaging content through videos and pictures.

We want to make it even easier to create visual content that helps you stand out and inspire your professional community. So here are some new tools we're rolling out:

You can now encourage your followers to take other actions on or off LinkedIn by simply adding a clickable link directly to your images and videos to direct your audience to your website, an upcoming event, a recent newsletter or other resources.

To add a clickable link, create a new mobile post with an image or video, tap the "Add link" icon, add your URL and custom link text, then post. This will be rolled out over the next few weeks.
