Liverpool Eurovision arena investigating security concerns at Jamie Webster concert

Some fans at the M&S Bank Arena to see Jamie Webster on Saturday reported overcrowding and poor ticket checks.

Paul Lang from Birkenhead said: 'It didn't feel like a safe environment.'

The site said there were reports of overcrowding, but it has been resolved and proper ticket checks have been performed.

Police said they "visited the scene briefly". Freelance singer-songwriter Webster, playing his biggest gig in his hometown, had to cut the encore on his set.
