Luke Hemsworth: Shocking cancellation of 'Westworld' was 'disappointing'

Luke Hemsworth chooses to see the beauty of the canceled critically acclaimed HBO series "Westworld".

HBO announced that "Westworld" was given the ax in November 2022 after its fourth season wrapped in August.

"You hope these things last forever, but everyone has their own reasons," Hemsworth said. "I'm very grateful to have played a part in this series and this journey has been a big part of my life, but yes, it was disappointing."

In fact, Hemsworth learned the news on his 42nd birthday: "I was like, 'Fuck! Shit!” he said.

Hemsworth continued, "I think the idea from the start was to close the loop and get back to loops, humans and robots stuck in that trajectory. Unfortunately, we're cut off, but it's "It's the nature of the world. You can't be depressed about it. You move on and it opens new doors."
