Man recalls 'strange' UFO experience outside his home as he demands answers online

A man who stumbled upon what looked like a low-flying helicopter, but appeared "invisible" as it flew over his house at night, is looking for answers.

The man said the 'strange' UFO-like experience happened outside his home in Carlow, Ireland.

Describing it as one of the "weirdest experiences he's had, hands down", the man took to the internet demanding answers.

Explaining his experience on Reddit Ireland, he said he heard what sounded like a low-flying helicopter and went outside to check, reports the Irish Mirror.

It then flew directly overhead, but strangely "appeared invisible" with no light, shape, or outline.

He said: "I was in Carlow here and heard something that sounded like one of those Coast Guard helicopters approaching from afar (they usually drill here and unfortunately have to look for people from from time to time).

"Just thinking about that, I came out of the garage to look like any man-child, especially since it sounded so low.

"Keep in mind that it's not the darkest night as it's a full moon and no clouds. Anyway, it still looked like a low-flying helicopter that came directly above me in a linear northerly direction. The weird part?

"I can't identify something that seems invisible.

"There was no light at all. I don't eat a lot of carrots lol but seriously, I couldn't even see the vague shape or outline of anything. This is one weirdest experiences I've had, so much so that I felt compelled to share here. I hope people don't think I'm bullshit."

He kept asking for an explanation.

"Does anyone have an explanation?" Has anyone else heard let alone seen this in the Carlow area? It came from the direction of Tinryland towards the Palatine,” he wrote.

Dozens of people have since commented, with some claiming to have experienced the same thing.

“I was told by someone else (about 10 miles from Carlow Town) that the same thing happened about 10 days ago, around 2am or so,” he wrote. he writes, to which the poster replied, "Interesting".
