Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag picks top three players after simple win at Leicester

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has spoken after his side's 3-0 win over Leicester on Sunday. A brace from Marcus Rashford and a strike from Jadon Sancho gave the Red Devils all three points. And they are now hoping for a similar result when they face Barcelona on Thursday.

Manchester United found themselves in trouble against Leicester early on, relying on the brilliance of David De Gea to keep the visitors at bay.

The Spain international, who has now equaled Peter Schmeichel's record of 182 clean sheets for the club, made two excellent saves from Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho to prevent Brendan Rodgers' side from opening the scoring.

However, a Rashford goal in the 25th minute turned the tide.

The England international then doubled his side's lead 11 minutes after the restart, scoring his 24th goal in all competitions.

And Sancho made it safe late on, with the England international striking after good work from the mercurial Bruno Fernandes.

Speaking after the match, Ten Hag praised Rashford.

"It was a good goal, once again a great pass from Bruno [Fernandes], a great goal from Rashy [Marcus Rashford] and we lead 1-0.

"The second half was all of us and Bruno Fernandes played a wonderful game.

"The team puts Rashford in the right positions, especially Bruno, he creates the number of passes, he gives behind, he crosses.
