Man Utd star Cristiano Ronaldo 'accepts' FA charge despite Erik ten Hag saying otherwise

The Red Devils host Omonia Nicosia on Thursday night with Ronaldo in contention to start again with Anthony Martial suffering a setback injury. And Ten Hag hopes Ronaldo can soon return to his best form in front of goal.

“I want to support him as best I can,” said Ten Hag. "We have a certain requirement towards him and what we expect of him in certain positions on the pitch.

"But it's that I want to get the best out of him. Obviously he's in better shape now and I'm happy with that, so he can contribute more to the team. I'm sure he will."
