The anonymous buyer told the auction house that the Zuckerberg card will join a collection that already includes rookie cards for MLB legends Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle, as well as an Action Comics #1. .. summarizing Zuck as "the Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Superman of social media rolled into one."
The signed card - which dates from 1992 - was also sold as an NFT, and it cost $1,345.
Mark played Little League in Westchester County, NY...where trading cards were a novelty offered to families.
