Sara Cox's apology after caller says Matt Hancock is a 'c***'
Sara Cox has been forced to apologize to Radio 2 listeners after a caller called Matt Hancock a 'c**t' live on air.
The presenter, 47, was chatting with a caller who rang with a song suggestion when the expletive gaffe took place.
As the male caller explained his reasons for choosing Queen's hit single "Don't Stop Me Now", he went on to state "because Matt Hancock is a c**t", before being quickly cut.
"Okay, we have to interrupt it there," Sara continued, telling the listeners.
"It's live radio, it happens. I can only apologize if you have kids listening in the car."

"This caller is an absolute disgrace. Imagine choosing Queen's Don't Stop Me Now," one Twitter user online joked after the segment aired.
"True, but it's a mess on national radio with little kids listening. Real rubbish," added another, while a third wrote, "I love the way she played the song anyway."
Discussing the incident on Twitter, another social media user wrote, "Not even a beat in @sarajcox's voice. Very well handled and professional!"
