Gina Coladangelo, Matt Hancock's girlfriend, had tears in her eyes ahead of her reunion with the disgraced MP after he came out on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The former health secretary was a shock runner-up in the Australian jungle finishing third behind Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and jungle queen Jill Scott.

Mr. Hancock was arguably the most controversial celebrity to appear on ITV's hit reality show.

He played a leading role in the government's handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and called anyone ignoring social distancing rules and restrictions 'very selfish' before he was caught trying to having an extramarital affair with Gina.

The case came to light after Hancock was caught canoodling by CCTV with Gina, and the footage is believed to have been leaked by a Department of Health insider on May 6, 2021.

But the pair are still an item and Gina was in Australia waiting at the famous I'm A Celebrity bridge just outside Hancock of the Jungle.

On Thursday night's episode of I'm A Celeb: Coming Out, Gina got emotional after hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced that Hancock finished in third place.
