Holi is the "festival of colors" or "festival of love" of South Asian spring. It celebrates how love triumphs over evil.

New York City has opened up, but there have been no major Holi celebrations this year.

There was a Holi Hai festival on Governors Island (nycholi.com). The last was in 2018. It's not happening this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There is also usually a Festival of Colors in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
