The crocodile gallops towards the man in a terrifying viral video

A huge crocodile was seen galloping towards a man in a state of nightmares.

The huge beast named Chainsaw was seen leaping towards him instead of waddling slowly.

Stunning footage showed the Cuban crocodile jumping like a horse at Gatorland Wildlife Sanctuary in Orlando, Florida.

Meanwhile, the man he was chasing sprinted out of the way as park visitors watched with bated breath.

The crocodile opened its jaws to show its razor-sharp teeth, as it chased the man, then waddled away.

The American theme park posted the clip on social media where it has reached over 1.4 million views to date.

A spokesperson said, "The chainsaw in action. Our incredible Cuban crocodile."

Many Internet users have been seduced by the agile crocodile capable of jumping and running at high speed.

But Chainsaw's movements are not out of the ordinary as the species is known to be good swimmers and to walk and jump.

The creatures are equally at home in water as they are on land and can leap from rivers to snag their prey.

With their powerful tail thrust, they can push themselves out of the water to catch birds and mammals in overhanging tree branches.
