Mum 'feared for her life' after pack of dogs 'devoured' her in horror attack

A woman 'feared for her life' when she was mauled by a pack of dogs on her way to work.

Agapi Kostea was only three days old when she was attacked in Kalamata, southern Greece, on September 12.

Agapi was arriving at work when the stray dogs attacked her in the factory yard.

She said the animals ran furiously towards her and started biting her all over her body, adding that she had rolled into a ball and fainted during the attack.

Two colleagues chased the dogs away before taking Agapi to a nearby hospital where she is still undergoing treatment.

Dark photos taken at the hospital show bite marks and bruises all over Agapi's body.

The victim told local media that she was "literally devoured", left in "excruciating pain" and needed stitches all over her body.

She added, "I was screaming in pain when they bit me. No one was there to hear me or help me right away.

"I was scared for my life, I can't believe I survived."

The mother also shared that she cannot hug her children because the touch hurts too much.
