NASCAR champ Kyle Busch shoots family getaway at Mall of America in Minnesota

Scary moment yesterday for Kyle Busch...the two-time NASCAR champion and his family were at the Mall of America in Minnesota when gunfire erupted, causing chaos and sending people running for their lives.

Busch, 37, had spent a day at the nation's largest mall with his son, Brexton, and his wife, Samantha, before things took a scary turn.

In the video uploaded, you see Busch, dressed in a black and green shirt and white hat, holding hands with Brexton...as everyone tried to get to safety in the middle chaos.

Shortly after, Samantha sent an update to her friends, family and fans, writing..."If you see the news on the @mallofamerica we are out and safe."< /p>

“Praying others inside too,” she added.

“We are currently working on an active incident inside the Mall of America on the northwest side. Multiple officers are on site. We will update when we have more information,” the Twitter account wrote. Bloomington Police Department official.

Police later confirmed that shots were fired...adding that the suspect fled the MOA on foot and officers were investigating the isolated incident.

After some semblance of order was restored, Bloomington PD Chief Booker Hodges addressed the incident at a press conference... saying his officers heard gunshots near the store Nike from the famous mall.
