Need a repair? The Fixit Clinic will guide you to get things working again

I often describe Fixit Clinic as "a hobby gone out of control". We held the first Fixit Clinic in 2009 as a modest experiment to make basic and specialized tools available for participants to disassemble, troubleshoot, and hopefully repair common consumer items: dismantling appliances and electronics, repairing fabrics and textile articles such as clothing and luggage, fixing furniture; to work and work with all kinds of durable goods.

Now, through our Global Fixers Server and Intergalactic Zoom Fixit Clinics, we've expanded and transformed Fixit Clinic into a global phenomenon with participants and repairers around the world working together to fix things. We are able to support underserved and remote areas that do not have the resources or population density to host local community repair events. We can also consider large things that would be too heavy to bring to an in-person event.
