According to 1inch, customer gas costs for exchanges will be at least 10% lower than its previous services in the DEX section, making exchange activity within the Ethereum community more profitable for its users. In Router v5, 1 inch estimated that swaps could be about 5% more fuel efficient than in the previous version, and 10% more fuel efficient, compared to the second high performance drive in the DEX section. /p>

New features and improvements in the v5 router over previous routers include; brand new interaction logic, pre/post interactions and advanced smart contract error handler. The new version is also intended to put protection first and has been audited using nearly a dozen industry tasks, in conjunction with Consensys, OpenZeppelin and ABDK Consulting.

Sergej Kunz, the co-founder of 1inch Network, shared with Cointelegraph:

"It's been almost a year since 1inch Router v4 was released, and throughout that time we have accumulated enough improvements for the new 5th version. [...] We have optimized the cost of gas even higher, so now our customers will buy at least 8-14% more than using any other DeFi product.”

Early this year, Cointelegraph stated that the 1inch network would be on Avalanche and Gnosis Chain, formerly called xDai Chain.

In August, Klaytn, to offer its consumer base access to the 1inch Limit Order Protocol v2, in addition to providing deeper liquidity and progressive token exchanges through the 1inch network.

1-inch Decentralized Change Aggregator (DEX) is about to launch its state-of-the-art router; Router v5. The organization said Router v5 promises to make customers' DeFi experience more convenient by reducing fuel costs for exchanges.
