2023: INEC will launch a portal for ad hoc staff registration
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced on Wednesday that it will soon launch a portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The commission, in a letter signed by A.T Yusuf, for the Secretary of INEC, will be open to eligible applicants from September 14 to December 14 at 8:00 p.m.
He said the exercise, which will be launched through INECPRES, will be open to others except classification officers/rapporteurs.
Mr. Yusuf, in the letter to all Resident Election Commissioners (RECs), requested the cooperation of all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, among others, to achieve the required number of ad hoc staff per state.
“To achieve the required number of ad hoc staff per State, it is important that a strong commitment/awareness from the administration. Secs HOD EOPS/EOs & AEOS under the guidance of RECS is being launched with Federal authorities, State tertiary institutions and NYSC offices (State/Government levels),” he said.
INECPRES is available through two links located on the INEC website: www.inecnigeria.org (one link for the mobile application and the other link for the web portal).
