We The Builders have announced their new project. This community build will be a tribute to a lost member of the community, Sanjay Mortimer, a 1 meter tall 3D printed Sanjay Mortimer.
Sanjay Mortimer was a well known voice in the 3D printing community and the founder of E3D-Online. After his passing last year, many people found ways to honor him and We The Builders started this project for that purpose.
If you remember, We The Builders makes great sculptures by outsourcing 3D printing. They cut a large file into parts that anyone in the community can 3D print and mail out for assembly. Sanjay's bust will be 1.1 meters tall and will consist of 463 parts. You can claim a piece to print by visiting the project page.
