'90 Day Fiance' preview: Mohamed's mum scolds him for trying to 'control' Yve

Mohamed takes a moment to call his mother, Hanan, to catch up with her. She asks how things are going with Yve. Mohamed says that Yve is "always busy". She asks if he feels "comfortable" since arriving in the United States. After that, the words start coming out of Mohamed.

"I have a very strong relationship with my mother, but I usually pretend that everything is fine so she doesn't worry about me", says Mohamed in this EXCLUSIVE preview of the July 24 episode of 90 Day Fiance. "So I haven't reached out to my mom too much since I got to the States. "

Mohamed notes that there is a "cultural difference" with Yve and asks his mother if Yve should wear typical Egyptian women's clothing. "We cannot force her or impose our traditions on her," says Mohamed's mother.

She continues: "You have to adapt to the new environment you find yourself in. Let her do what she wants, one by one she will understand satiety. Don't don't try to control her and try to adjust in a pleasant way without getting grumpy."

Mohamed is absolutely stunned by what his mother told him. “She is completely on Yves' side. And I didn't expect that. I don't agree with my mother, but what she tells me matters,” he says.

Mohamed goes into defense mode about his "happiness". He doesn't think his mother is listening to him.
