As for the stars honored -- Loretta Lynn, David Crosby, Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie, Bobby Rydell, Naomi Judd, Lisa Marie Presley and Olivia Newton John.

A surprisingly omitted name – Aaron Carter.

Aaron has never won or been nominated for a Grammy, but he certainly left his mark on pop music. His "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" reached No. 35 on the Billboard Top 100 chart and "That's How I Beat Shaq" reached No. 98.

Aaron's fans are letting the Academy have him on social media, writing, "Shame on the 2023 Grammys!" "The Grammys pick and always pick smh." Another wrote: "Yes I'm so upset right now!!!! For example why wasn't Aaron included?"

TMZ broke the story, Aaron was found dead in his bathtub in November...the L.A. County Coroner's Office is still awaiting the results of the singer's toxicology report to determine the official cause of death.
