Accord Party senatorial candidate in Oyo state says he will prioritize youth empowerment

"As far as I'm concerned, we have to realize as a nation that we have to start putting our young people first.

"I am in politics not only for myself, but to be an inspiration to young people.

"I hope that when I get there, I can be that role model that inspires young people," he said.

He deplored the effects of the ASUU strikes on young people and instructed the government to take steps to quickly end the current strike.

Kola-Daisi described the teaching profession as the most important profession and should not be taken for granted.

"I'm not saying that any particular demands need to be met, but we need to look at resource allocation and put a lot more of our budget into helping children in school," he said.< /p>

He stressed that ensuring children go to school unhindered is the only way for them to graduate so as to contribute significantly to human capital development and nation building .

"I have experience in fundraising, I have experience in mentoring and I have experience in working with young people to help them achieve their goals.< /p>

"These are some of the experiences I intend to bring to bear as a representative of my constituents," he said.

Kola-Daisi described the Accord Party as the only progressive party in Oyo State, saying it had gradually grown to become the main force.

“The predominant party in Oyo State at the moment is the Accord Party.

“Anyone who wants to participate in a fair, responsible, welcoming, open and progressive platform that does not discriminate against age, tribe or gender should come to the Accord Party,” he said. declared.
