Amanda Bynes' psychiatric detention extended for another week, without speaking to anyone

Amanda Bynes is getting more professional care than she needs...her psychiatric treatment has been extended and we are told she is seriously focused on her recovery.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ...Amanda remains hospitalized in Los Angeles and her stay has been extended for at least another week...maybe more.

We're told Amanda doesn't talk to anyone close to her...we don't even know if she even remembers the days and nights she spent wandering the streets of L.A., sometimes naked and alone.

TMZ broke the story... Amanda was taken into psychiatric detention last weekend after she was found walking near downtown L.A. without any clothing.

It appears that Amanda has been living on the streets for several days... her car was towed to Long Beach on March 15, about 40 miles from her home, and people around her think she traveled around Los Angeles using public transportation and hitchhiking.
