APC and PDP structures have crippled Nigeria – Peter Obi
Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi on Saturday blamed the challenges facing Nigeria on the structures adopted by the major political parties.
Mr. Obi, who spoke at a campaign rally in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, urged Nigerians to vote against major political parties.
Although he did not name the parties, it was obvious that the main political parties he was referring to are the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the main party People's Democratic Party (PDP) of opposed.
“Nigerians are hungry, young people have no jobs. It is not safe to travel anywhere in Nigeria today. All these challenges are caused by those who say they have partisan structures. But these structures have crippled Nigeria. I want you and I to destroy these structures by eliminating them next month,” he urged.
“We will secure and unite Nigeria. We want Nigeria to be proud to be Nigerian. We will deliver a secure Nigeria. you are a slave in your own country,” he added.

“We will rule this country with the fear of God. We will give you jobs. We will transform Nigeria from a consumer country to a producer country,” he promised.
"These people kept bragging about having structures. Yet they do nothing. They produce nothing in this state, young people are unemployed, we will change these challenges."
