APC supporters organize solidarity march for Tinubu in Ibadan

Followers of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu in Oyo state staged a solidarity march on Thursday to rally support in Ibadan.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the march led by Isaac Kekemeke, the APC National Vice President (South West) and APC Chairman of Oyo State , Isaac Omodewu, was tagged: "Youth March for Asiwaju/ Shettima".

State gubernatorial candidate Teslim Folarin and Oyo Central Senate candidate Yunus Akintunde also joined other leaders in the march.

NAN reports that supporters dressed in different T-shirts bearing the pictures of Mr. Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, marched from Oke-Ado to Dugbe and surrounding areas.

Mr. Folarin, while speaking, thanked people for their support over the years, assuring them of a better and rewarding future with APC.

The gubernatorial candidate urged them to believe in APC as campaigns and general elections approach.

He pleaded with people to support Mr. Tinubu on the basis of his background, background, competence and being a trustworthy Yoruba man.

Mr. Kekemeke had earlier on Wednesday described Mr. Tinubu as a true Yoruba son, who had never betrayed the race.

He rallied support for Mr. Tinubu, who he said believed the Yoruba people could thrive extremely well in the nation of Nigeria where there is justice, justice and fairness.

Meanwhile, organizers in their separate remarks said the march was aimed at raising awareness and rallying support for APC candidates ahead of the 2023 election.

The march was also attended by the candidate for the House of Representatives for Ibadan South East/North East, Dapo Lam-Adeshina, and the candidate for the Assembly of Ibadan South West II, Idris Abiola- Ajimobi.

The others were the House of Representatives candidates for Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire, Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala and Akin Alabi (APC-Egbeda/Ona-Ara).(NAN)
