Apple releases macOS Monterey 12.5 beta 5

In addition to the new iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 betas, Apple has also released macOS Monterey 12.5 beta 5 for Mac.

The macOS Monterey 12.5 software was released a week after the previous beta and so far it is available for developers. It is also expected to be released shortly as part of Apple's public beta testing program.

This new beta of macOS Monterey 12.5 mostly comes with a range of bug fixes and performance improvements, there doesn't seem to be a lot of new features in this update.

As this is the fifth beta release of macOS Monterey 12.5, we shouldn't be far from the final version of the software. We expect Apple to eventually release an additional beta version and then the final version.

That would mean we could have the final release of macOS Monterey 12.5 within the next few weeks.
