Ariana Grande has a message for anyone who thinks she's no longer a singer. The music artist released his last three albums - 'Sweetener', 'Thank U, Next' and 'Positions' - all less than a year apart, but took a longer than usual break to release new music since the 2020 release of "Posts". Now she's putting an end to criticism that she neglected her artistry in the best way she knows how: by showing off her unmistakable voice.

On January 20, Grande posted a video of herself singing a Judy Garland-inspired rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" on TikTok. "I wanted to sing you a little something but I don't want to sing anything that isn't 'Ozian' right now," she captioned. "I'm staying in my little bubble for now...it's done with lots of love."

However, the text Grande wrote on the video was a bit spicier. In response to a text bubble with fan reviews asking, "Why aren't you a singer anymore?" Grande wrote, "Literally is on set filming two musical movies every day." The "Positions" singer was actually on set of the upcoming film adaptation of the musical "Wicked," in which she plays the coveted lead role of Glinda the Good Witch. In her TikTok, we see her wrapped in a pink blanket to cover her Glinda hairstyle.

@Ariana Grande

I wanted to sing you a little something but I don't want to sing anything that isn't "Ozian" at the moment :) I'm staying in my little bubble for now... made with lots of love.< /p> ♬ original sound - arianagrande

As Grande said, her hiatus may be because she filmed "Wicked," but the singer also married husband Dalton Gomez in early 2021. Can anyone? he blame him for taking a little break before releasing albums non-stop?

In the meantime, fans can rewatch the six albums she's already released on streaming platforms and her recent cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" above. Thank you Great!
