Famous Nigerian afrobeat singer, Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake, has added another feat to his list of accomplishments as 'Mr Money With The Vibes' announced the highest charting Nigerian debut album on Billboard in 2022.
Music chart data confirmed this Thursday in a Twitter update.
"In 2022, 'Mr. Money With The Vibe' became the highest-charting Nigerian debut album of all time on Billboard."
The 12-track album came in at number 66 on the Billboard 200, making it the most successful Nigerian album on the chart and number 2 on the Billboard World Album Chart.
The chart-topping album was released on September 8, 2022 and became the number one album in Nigeria within hours.
The album, which was released in late 2022, made it into the top 1-10 songs on Apple Music during its release week.
