Atiku appoints Dino Melaye, Bwala as spokesperson

People's Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has nominated former lawmaker Dino Melaye and Dr. Daniel Bwala to serve as spokespersons for the 2023 presidential campaign.

The media adviser to presidential candidate Paul Ibe said in a statement Thursday that both appointments should take effect without delay.

Atiku has also appointed Ms. Lynne Bassey as Special Assistant on Gender Issues and the Advancement of Women, effective August 1.

Tuesday, July 5, 2022, the former vice president had added three media assistants to his campaign team, namely: Eta Uso, Abdulrashhed Shehu and Demola Olanrewaju.

Malaye was a member of the Red House of the National Assembly, during the 8th Senate of the National Assembly from the senatorial constituency of Kogi West.

Bwala, a former leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC party who joined the PDP last week, is a legal luminary, politician and public affairs commentator born in Adamawa State.
