Atiku appoints Saraki, Anyim, Shekarau and other special advisers
BEFORE the launch of the 2023 election campaign on Wednesday, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar made key appointments of special advisers aimed at bolstering his presidential campaign team.
The appointees are former presidents of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki as the presidential candidate's special envoy and Senator Pius Anyim, as a special adviser.
Also appointed as special advisors are former Kano State Governor Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, former Osun State Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Senator Ehigie Uzamere.
Former national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus has also been appointed technical adviser to the presidential candidate.
Appointments shall be effective immediately.
Atiku instructed the appointees to use their vast political experiences to ensure the PDP presidential campaign achieves a resounding success in the 2023 elections.
