Atiku in Nasarawa, promises to set aside $10 billion for women and youth employment

PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has pledged to set aside $10 billion to create job opportunities for the country's youth and women if elected as the next president of the country.

The former vice president made the pledge during the PDP presidential campaign rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Mr. Atiku also urged the people of Nasarawa to vote for him in the 2023 presidential election because he will improve the infrastructure of the state.

He said, “I would like to thank the people of Nasarawa for this support. I would like to reiterate our commitment to youth and women employment in Nigeria. dollars for this purpose."

"I will strengthen Nasarawa's infrastructure if elected," he added.

For his part, PDP National Chairman Iyorcha Ayu predicted that the party's flag bearer, Atiku, will win the country's north-central geopolitical zone in the upcoming general elections.

Mr. Ayu urged party members who have defected to other political parties to come back and join the winning train as the party is poised to win the upcoming general election.

"Atiku will get its highest votes from North Central. I expect Nasarawa to give Atiku 95% of the votes.

"We started the journey in Nasarawa in 1998.
