Barcelona's Ilkay Gundogan names his idols in football
Barcelona's new signing Ilkay Gundogan has named his footballing idols.
Gundogan, who recently left Manchester City to join Barcelona, has named Ronaldinho, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets as his idols in the game.
The German international joined the Catalan club as a free agent after his contract with Pep Guardiola's side ended in the summer.
When asked to name his idols in football, Gundogan replied via (h/t Barca Times), "My idols? Ronaldinho…although he is very different from me.
"Also Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets", he said.
Gundogan was a key player for Manchester City during the 2022-23 campaign.
He won the treble - Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League with Man City last season.
