PDP Presidential Campaign Council appoints Dele Momodu and other administrators
The Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) campaign organization has appointed former presidential candidate and Ovation magazine publisher Dele Momodu as campaign director, overseeing strategic communications.
>In a press statement signed by the Managing Director of Campaign Organization and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, 16 other people were also appointed directors or deputy directors of various directorates of the National Committee of campaign management (NCMC) of the PDP.
They are Rt. Hon. Austin Opara (Director, Training), Hon. Umar M. Bature (Director, Field Operations), Hon. Abdullahi Hussaini MaiBasira (Director, Finance), Brig-Gen. Koko Essien, Rtd (Director, Security and Intelligence), Dr. Ms. Baraka Sani (Director, Support Group), Ibrahim Bashir (Director, Administration), Kamaldeen Ajibade (Director, Legal Affairs) and Nurudeen Taoheed Ademola (Director, Technical) .
The others are Prof. Iyorwuese Hagher (Director, Election Management), Dr. Sam Amadi (Director, Research), Ms. Modupeola Sanyaolu (Director, Monitoring and Evaluation), Ambassador Ahmed Magaji (Director, International Affairs) , Osita Chidoka (Director, Voter Intelligence & Strategy), Prof. Isah Odidi (Director, Diaspora Group), Rt. Hon. Tolford Ongolo (Deputy Director, Election Management – South) and the Hon. Chile Igbawua (Deputy Director, Election Management – North).
The statement said that "Directors should contact the DDG, Administration, Professor Adewale Oladipo for further details."
He added, "We believe your commitment to the overall success of the campaign will justify the trust placed in you by our party leadership."
The nominations came on a day when the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, named Kola Ologbondiyan as its fourth spokesperson for the 2023 presidential campaign.
Ologbondiyan, the PDP's former national publicity secretary and current member of the party's national executive committee, is expected to project Atiku's unique selling points and keep the electorate informed of the campaign's progress.< /p>
