BBNaija: Everything you need to know about Tier 3 where 'evicted' housemates were sent

Big Brother Naija gave audiences some new twists on Sunday as the reality show gradually enters its final weeks.

The show's host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced the creation of Level 3.

Although viewers were initially puzzled, this became clearer after Doyin's expulsion.

Doyin, who was the first roommate evicted on Sunday, did not come on stage to meet Ebuka. Instead, she spawned in the Level 3 house.

The second housemate to be kicked out was Eloswag, and he joined Doyin.

Ebuka later explained that they had indeed been expelled and were not in contention for the N100 million grand prize.

However, Biggie will keep them in the Level 3 house until at least Sunday, September 18.

Chomzy became the third roommate to be introduced to the Level 3 house.

A statement on the Big Brother Naija website read: "House guests are no longer vying for the coveted grand prize, but are eligible to earn prizes through sponsored tasks. Without their knowledge and roommates, they will occupy Level 3 until at least September 18, participating in normal household activities such as journal sessions, chores and head of house games Appointments also remain the same, but no one in the house house wouldn't know if house guests are being evicted or not.

"Since then, the old level 2 has remained vacant, until now. Level 2 has become level 3; a house for evicted roommates. These roommates will no longer be referred to as such but as guests of the house."
