Benue police confirm three dead in attack on Tse Ngban village
The Benue State Police Command on Monday confirmed the killing of three people in an attack on Tse Ngban village in Nyiev council ward of Guma local government area of Benue State.
Command Public Relations Officers, SP. Catherine Anene, who confirmed the incident, said the corpse of the deceased was sent to Benue State Teaching Hospital, while an investigation is ongoing
Earlier, local resident Mr Julious Moab said the incident happened on Sunday evening.
According to him, the villagers ran to a safe place as soon as they noticed that three people had been killed.
According to him, the attackers besieged the Tse Ngban around 7 p.m. and terrorized the inhabitants, adding that a woman was killed on the spot while the other two died shortly after the attack from wounds that were inflicted on them by the armed assailants.
