Apple today released a new trailer for its new Apple TV+ documentary series Big Beasts which will consist of 10 episodes and was narrated by Emmy-nominated Tom Hiddleston. Travel from icy poles to tropical rainforests to encounter nature's most captivating giants, who prove to be great with enormous challenges. The new Apple TV+ documentary series premieres April 21, 2023 just in time for Earth Day, with two new episodes released by Apple each week until Friday, May 19, 2023.

"Big Beasts" features some of the world's most massive species filmed in 17 countries, including the gray whale, elephant seal, giant otter, gorilla, hippopotamus, brown bear , ostrich, orangutan, tiger and polar bear. Viewers will see that being big isn't easy - the bigger the animal, the greater the challenges it faces - as the series captures rare and never-before-seen footage using specialized equipment and next-generation shooting techniques."

"Big Beasts" is produced by Plimsoll Productions with Emmy Award-winning Tom Hugh-Jones ("Planet Earth II", "Hostile Planet") and Grant Mansfield ("Hostile Planet") and Martha , Emmy-nominated Holmes (“Hostile Planet,” “Life”) executive producer. Hugh-Jones also served as executive producer of the Apple TV+ BAFTA Award-nominated and Jackson Wild Media Award-winning nature documentary series "Tiny World," narrated by SAG Award-nominated Paul Rudd." /p> Earth Day 2023
