BREAKING: Ex-Gov, Ladoja drags Makinde, Olubadan and others to court over chieftaincy case

A former governor of Oyo State, Rasidi Ladoja, has taken Governor Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, to court, DAILY POST reports.

The former governor has also taken to court the high chiefs of Ibadan who have recently been elevated to the rank of kings.

Recall that the State Legislature recently amended the Heads of State Act.

On Friday, the Olubadan elevated ten (10) senior chiefs of the ancient city to Obas, although Ladoja walked away from the promotion.

Ladoja had explained earlier that he was not interested in any crowns other than the Olubadan Crown. Ladoja filed suit in the Oyo State High Court.

Details of the lawsuit are contained in court documents obtained by DAILY POST on Wednesday.

Former Attorney General and State Attorney General Michael Folorunso Lana is the former governor's attorney in this case.
